1.     Prayer

·      Pray for themes over certain periods of time for your content (monthly, weekly, quarterly, etc.)

 

2.     Caption spreadsheet

·      Base on your audiences pain points and your solution to their problems

·      Some captions should be promotional towards your offerings

 

3.     Diversify

·      Post different types of post---- video*, photo, text, conversation starters, etc

·      80/20 rule when it comes to promotional posts (80% non-promo or soft promo; 20% promo)

·      *Video most engaging

 

4.     Test out what works for your audience.

5.     Be consistent (colors, same voice, on brand)

6.     Focus on social media platform where you see results (start with 1-2)

7.     Create content calendar

 

How may posts per day?

·      If less than 10,000 followers… 1-5 posts a day on Facebook

·      IG varies---- just be consistent (Avg is 1-2x per day with posts)

 

Other Tips

·      Remember captions are king & looking for engagement always include a CTA

·      Hashtags rule on IG-à help you get discovered

·      Tell stories

·      Track your analytics (post performance, comments, hashtags, audience engagement, time to post); likes & followers are “vanity” metrics

·      Consistency always wins; devote a specific amount of time weekly to scheduling posts for the week.
